The West Point Volunteer Fire Department provides fire and emergency medical services to the Town of West Point and parts of King William County. To provide these services to the community, we depend on individuals, such as you, to volunteer. If you decide to join our family of dedicated firefighters and emergency medical providers, you will receive, at no cost to you, all the required and advanced training including emergency vehicle operations, emergency medical technician, and entry-level firefighting. In addition, our members receive the following benefits:

  • Tuition Reimbursement for members seeking a degree from an institution of higher education
  • Uniforms – Shirts, pants, boots, jacket
  • Life Insurance Policy
  • Knowledge, skills and ability that can be used to seek employment with career public safety organization.
  • Family events, team building activities, and state of the art facilities and equipment.
